DDJ GRAPHIC MACHINERY LAUNCHES BIANNUAL MAINTENANCE SERVICE

DRUPA sees the launch of a biannual maintenance service by Komori specialists DDJ Graphic Machinery for new and existing customers. The service joins an extensive portfolio which already includes the acquisition and supply of high-quality second hand Komori presses, complete refurbishment, moving and reinstalling press and finishing equipment, and a full after sales service following installation.

Director David Jarrett says: "By servicing the presses twice a year, we are able to ensure the optimum performance of the press is achieved and that our customers’ investments are reaping the appropriate rewards. We all have our cars serviced regularly and this is a similar scenario – prevention is better than cure."

He adds: "DDJ Graphic Machinery's experience of moving high value, precision equipment, installing it and returning it as quickly as possible to full production contributes enormously to our ongoing success. We are fortunate to have the facilities to refurbish and service presses, which is an attractive option to customers. When complete, the press may still be second hand, but it is second-to-none."

The last 12 months has seen not only an increase in turnover of some 10 per cent but also an increase of 25 per cent in the export to domestic sales ratio. The company's largest market is Asia, and 2007 saw sales to China, Taiwan, Korea and the Phillipines. Direct installations have also taken place in South Africa, New Zealand, Poland and North America, with a total of 100 press units sold worldwide during the year.

DDJ Graphic Machinery was formed in 2001. David Jarrett gained a wealth of experience with Komori presses in the various positions he held with Komori UK between 1977 and 1999
